THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 380-365 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 6.02 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. [ΛΑΡΙΣΑΙΩΝ] Horse grazing right; below, boukranion. BCD Thessaly I 1150. BCD Thessaly II 298. HGC 4, 442. A rare variety. Lightly toned. Faint scratches and with minor traces of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.

From an American collection, the Petunia Collection, ex Tiber Numismatics, 8 September 2024, 16 and from the BCD Collection, acquired before 2011.
